Il penultimo giorno in Portogallo noi volontari insieme a persone che si occupano di questo ogni anno abbiamo allestito tutto il paese di Uva con bandierine, tavoli e sedie, abbiamo cucinato e ci siamo divertiti molto per preparare il posto alla Festa Dos Pombais.

In questa immagine stavamo discutendo delle Palumbar (colombaia) queste casine che erano sparse per tutto il paesaggio di Uva, dove vengono allevati i piccioni.

As our time in Portugal pass we had one of our best experiences. We were introducted to a feeding area for many species of vultures where we had the chance to saw them fliying above our head. Vultures are endemic of the Portugal intern area but almost disappared in the last century due to hunting and lack of food. Now Palombar are working for the reintroduction of many of these birds.
